Hello City Mayors, its Steven L. Jackson you do not know me yet but I think I can help you with the youth violence & drug use in all the major U.S. cities. I am free of drugs now but I was once a functioning addict. Like many others who are clever enough to beat the urinalysis and random test, I passed it for years. My drug addiction marijuana. Most of our children are addicted to drugs as a fad exstacy is the current favorite. We have to understand them and we need dedicated people who are capable of sharing similar experiences with them. Otherwise, you will not be able to relate to thier plight. God Bless you for your efforts on the part of Blacks and minorities in Washington DC and other cities.

I want to demonstrate against the Drug Dealers and Show support for the Military Soldiers that are dying for freedom in another country. The way I would like to demonstrate is to set up a funeral party and have it travel around the mall area to eventually rest on the capitol mall. There a funeral will be held for the Blackman who is dead to the plight of his fellow man. I will then lay in a coffin for that day just as with a viewing and recover the coffin to return to the funeral home I want to encourage the young and the old to vote, respect the knowledge and authority of our elders and elected officials. I am developing a curriculum for today’s youth by using the common sense approach. People know and respect my name and I want to use this influence to be a motivational speaker and career guidance counselor. If the mayors’ offices could help me I would greatly appreciate this and I would donate some of the moneys from my future projects to creating institutions that assist minorities with becoming lawful and moral citizens. I also want to stress the importance of community care and protection of our children, elderly and the poor.

My book, The Wise Sorrowful Heart, will be used to tell my Family's Gospel testimony from which I will create a Motivational speakers doctrine. “My Real Family will always be known as a black family that is connected to the Mafia for life. Loving my own, I feel we SE DC people are connected to each other by the ongoing struggle to shape the next generation. We can help form our own Neighborhood Families and watch as the people in need are elevated by our own so nobody thats a minority has to take and everyone can eat swell."

” I love you my SE DC Family. / Steven Jackson, SE DC Native."

My father died July 13 2004 suddenly but his wishes are for me to right the wrongs he has done. He spent 32 years in prison, paid his debt to society and know he want the children to understand though his experiences that you can never benefit from the suffering of others. The successes of the drug culture will endanger the future of the minority in this country.

There is a change in order and I would like to help bring it about. If the people in the Game loved my father then respect for game can bring about a change in the young hustlers mentality.

Contact me if you feel I can be of use in any of your youth violence and Drug addiction programs. I also could speak in the prisions and jails because my fathers name is one of the most well know hustlers in the country. Let me use his popularity to educate people about the coast to your families and your culture. I can reach the hustlers in the city if I offer them a change. I think I have some solutions.

My name is Steven L. Jackson, Age 39. Cpl (P) DCRANG DC Armory Communications NCO, 273rd Miltary Police Company.

Here’s another example of why I want to help.

Teen Shot, Killed In Southeast WASHINGTON - Police in the District say a teenager was shot and killed in an alley in the 700 block of Brandywine Street, Southeast, Monday night. Police say 15-year-old Shawn Riley, of Southeast Washington, was found sitting in the back seat of a car with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at Howard University Hospital. The car, a 1994 Oldsmobile Sierra, had been reported stolen earlier in the evening, police said. Riley was a freshman at Eastern High School. Riley's mother, Cornelia Faye Robertson, made the 911 call after receiving a call from a friend of Riley. "He said, 'Miss Faye, Shawn is dead,'" Robertson said. "You know, he said, 'He's laying in the ally on Brandywine Street.' He said, 'Call the police.' I said, 'Well, why can't you call the police?' He was silent, so I said, 'I'll call the police.'" Robertson said her son liked to drive and began driving when he was 14. She said the murder took place in her old neighborhood, which she moved away from because Shawn was hanging out with some people who were a bad influence. "I know that I did all I could for him," Robertson said. "I gave him, you know, but he got into that lifestyle where he wanted more, and I guess I didn't have enough. I guess he wanted these things fast. He started living a fast life at an early age." No arrests have been made. Robertson lost another son four years ago. She said he was 19 years old when he was shot and killed in the District.

The call of the powerful drugs in our community back yards is the problem. This is a War but it should be handled more rationally. How? My dream is to give the people a place to come to 24/7 if they need help. Security and a staff of counselors and Researchers will have the points of contact for any service they may require. I want to create an organization that can supply or sponcer help to the poor with beds, food, clothing, Counseling, Detoxification, Schools, Jobs, training, Conflict resolution classes, Child Care, Trades, Politics and Economics, Prayer for anyone how needs it. A Place that will educate the public on the latest discoveries and remedies for Aids, HIV, Hepatitis, Air and Blood Born Pathogens, TB, Lung, Breast, Colon Cancer research information and other medical issues. Good health practices Dental help, clean hands and a Clean Community my goal.

Fare too many people of real caliber and talent are falling into poverty and crime.  The Loop holes and red tape prevent our people from getting involved in the everyday participation in social issues.

I heard that two children are dead in Southeast and the killer is known to the community but no one will tell on him even with a 25,000 dollar reward being offered. Now that is really a shame.

I could have turned out to be a MONSTER but I think the example of my siblings and myself would be a positive influence on our youth.

They love the Sopranos but don't know what the cost to the family after the money runs out and the feds take over. We can tell them about the true consequences of becomming a so called KINGPIN. I want to speak to the children in the places where drugs seem to be the only way to make a name for your self.

We can inspire the Washington Area youth with a story of an Anacostia family sticking together and overcoming the odds.

Momma is Blessed by Steven L. Jackson

 Steven L. Jackson Memoirs

 – Momma is Blessed Some days momma wanted to jest go out and sit on the porch in the rain. When the rain was warm and made her smile. Momma has the type of smile that would melt any heart. I remember when Glenda and Mahalia were young maybe 3 and 4, I was 6 years old. One day momma asked us to go to sleep. I could not sleep so I pretended to be. Momma got a phone call from POP. I heard her speaking calmly at first. Then I heard her start to elevate her voice. Momma was upset about something. Pop was saying something about a friend. Momma was dead set against depending on Pop’s friends. Pop was always trying to get momma to trust in his relationships with members of the Black Mafia. She never did trust them. During this time momma was becoming irritable. She spoke with POP for about 30 minutes then disappeared into her room. I clamped my eyes shut when she slammed down the phone, glanced in our direction and began to tear up. She went into her room and cried silently. I know because I snuck away from the little blanket that I was lying on and went to the door to try and hear what she was doing. I heard her crying quietly again as I had heard her in the past. My role as her youngest son became comforter. It was my feeling that I was responsible for my mother’s smiles and cries. I never wanted to see her beautiful eyes messed up with makeup. That responsibility was one I embraced whole heartedly. I had the biggest crush on my momma. I was very observant as a child. Momma’s beauty was obvious to me even then. People used to watch my mothers movements very intently. I saw it clearly as a child. She was very appealing to most men and even got reactions from women. I wanted to see her happy so I became the family Jester. I could make momma laugh with a simple flip followed by a clever comment. One of the performances tickled momma more than others. Her favorite was when I acted as Dick Dastardly from and old cartoon. We would gather together in the basement or front room and I would put a fake mustache on and proclaim to momma “You Must pay the rent” then I would make my voice sound like three characters and say” I can’t pay the rent” then I pretended to be a hero coming from nowhere and I would say” I’ll pay the rent”. The woman would say “My hero”. The villain would then say” curses foiled again”. Momma would crack up. Sometimes I was so close to reality with my funny performances that she couldn’t help but die laughing. We always had some calamity befall us just as there was some upcoming celebration to concern ourselves with. For example, once I broke the upstairs faucet just before Christmas. Momma was upset but I got the most ridicule from my siblings. The brothers explained the reason for their admonishments. We had no money to pay for it. With eight children using two upstairs bathrooms, somebody was going to be inconvenienced. I understood then that Christmas was a financial burden on the family that my mother would not do without. She lavishly decorated with colorful lights, candy platters, Christmas figures and the like. Momma was determined that her young children enjoy the holiday seasons to the fullest. The pressure on the older ones was something that I was oblivious too. I was told that I was going to get beat for this typical clumsy act of mine. I was worried so I avoided momma when she came home. She already knew about the damage because the older ones had called to tell her. For me it was like I had disappointed my best friend. Momma called for me and sat me down. She told me that this was going to be a problem but we would handle it together. She looked somber but smiled and said “I’m not going to beat you Stevie but I want you to understand something about being responsible” I told her I did not believe I deserved any Christmas presents this year. Momma pretended to take the money for bathroom repairs out of my gifts. That Christmas I was about eleven, the family let me believe that I was not going to receive any gifts. Momma surprised me and I got more presents than anybody else that year. You see my momma seemed to know things. Momma sensed how upset I was with my self. She understood the peer pressure from my siblings would be quit enough punishment. It was enough to stop me from running around the house tearing things up and breaking things without caring who it effected. I learned this lesson well. Praying was how we addressed every issue and the good lord never let us down. It seemed that momma was one of Gods’ favorites. When we were in trouble she would pray and cry out to the lord and we would receive the lord’s grace. That’s the truth of it all. My life is the same way now, read on and see. It’s funny how things seemed to work themselves out for momma. I always thought that the prayers she prayed must have been very powerful. Anna Mae Jackson is a true believer in GOD. She meditated and prayed and fasted constantly while I was a child. Her faith has given me the strength to go on in the face of adversity whenever I doubted myself. God is in the picture when you suffer as much as she has and still believe wholeheartedly, something like Job in the bible. My momma praises the lord and recognizes his deeds on her behalf. She often spoke of being blessed. I believe she has been protected by GOD from the beginning. My Grandmothers faith in GOD was even more astounding. Obviously this had a great effect on my momma’s life. As a child my Momma tragically fell on to a sharp wooden post. She almost destroyed her uterus. The doctor’s said she died during the operation. She says she had a life after death experience. Later she was told she would never have children. Anna Mae ultimately delivered ten children eight survived. My mother almost died on the operating table more that once. She contracted Hepatitis C from all the blood transfusions she has undergone. God has blessed my family with the gift of survival. Do you need proof? I’ll ask you, would you have survived 32 years in prison? Would you have survive 32 years of waiting for someone you loved and idolized to return from prison? Only God knows. There where disappointments a plenty. There was this time when the family had to be divided. The Washington Post continued to report on pops suspected heroin distribution network. My uncle Norwood E. Jackson was an officer in the Army. He was married and living in Washington State. Uncle Norwood took my four brothers to live with him until some of the press died down. The written articles on pop where increasingly disturbing and accusatory in nature. According to the Post, my father was unfaithful to my mother. The Post named a woman as being pop’s girlfriend. The woman’s name was Becky. She had been to our home several times I even knew of her as a toddler. Pop had taken me to places where she was and she treated me very kindly. She seemed to respect my mother greatly. Momma was much prettier than Becky but Becky was into the street and mom wasn’t. That was her appeal to my father. Becky made moves and made money with pop. Becky was one of the reported six individuals who died during or prior to testifying against my father and the mafia connections he attained. Momma hated Pop for allowing himself to be manipulated by his friends, buddies and pals as she would say. Though momma made some comments about Becky when we were young she had considered Becky an associate of the family and someone who could be trusted with Black Mafia money. Momma accepted the fact that Becky was part of a bigger plan and a necessary element to the success of Pop’s business. Before this time, Momma tried to catch Pop dealing with her outside of the drug business. She used to follow pop so she could see if Pop was being unfaithful with Becky and other street woman. People sometimes called Becky Slippery’s woman too. The Washington Post was a terror to my mother. She worried about what dirt they would come up with. My mother’s greatest fear was that one day the Police would come and take her away from her children. Another threat was that the Italian Mafia would send a message to my father by involving his young children. We little children were somewhat oblivious to all the troubles. The older ones grow up at an alarming rate. We had lots of fighting and misunderstandings around momma. When momma was fed up about it she would let the cat out of the bag. My momma sometimes screamed out in anger “All of you children could have ended up in a home if God wasn’t so good to us. You all better start acting like a family and get your acts together.” She was not threatening us she was telling us that God spared us the misery of true separation and that we should always be thankful. I for one never forgot. The Family church was very helpful in the beginning but the Media attention was so great that even the family church had to be careful to maintain its existence. One article in particular stated” He was a … good hustler” It was a quote from my grandfather when he was interviewed about pop’s criminal activity. Being the son of a minister made it appear that this behavior was not in pop’s nature. Photos of the house we were living in at the time (3007 W. St. SE) were all over the newspaper along with a photo of my Granddaddy Min. John H. Jackson Sr. My little sisters and I would be outside playing in the yard and some car would pull up and someone inside would take pictures. Lot’s of people took pictures of our house so we kids never knew how popular we had become to the press or the president. My relatives felt President Richard Nixon had first hand knowledge of my father and my family’s connection to the Italian Mafia. They believed this because father’s connection was a channel by which the Italian Mafia could potentially threaten his control over black crime and eventually presidency. J Edgar Hover was also determined to keep the Genovese Mafia out of DC that meant getting rid of any Blackman who was working with them. Pop was involved over his head but wasn’t aware of it at first. Yes, we had troubles. More than enough for a young family like ours. My father did a lot of this before he was thirty years old. This made him a threat to society and to the government. All these things my young mother Anna Mae had to endure. I can cry for momma now. MOM doesn’t deserve to be sick as she is. Even as I write these words she is suffering. I love her so but I can’t do anything to help except to respect her memory and remember her words. What do you say to the dying? I had the same dilemma with Pop before he died. Really reader what do you say? She knows I love her and she knows it is breaking my heart to have to loose her. I can only hope my brothers in Arizona will be able to provide my mother with the kind of care she needs. I remember promising my mother that she would never have to live in a home. I feel like I broke my promise. I’m so sorry that I do not have the knowledge or skill to help her recover. My faith in GOD and Jesus Christ tells me that this was all meant to happen. Now I finally believe!!

That is wonderful. That is the best Christmas gift anyone could ask
for.  To see your Dad.  I hope that your Christmas is filled with a lot of
love and cheer.  Keep your head up, I know you can do it.  We had some
misunderstandings, but we all grow and learn from them.  Believe me you
have helped me grow in my life.  And things happen for a reason.  God
knew you needed to be home, that is why he did not let you come here.
Now, that I see what I am working with, I wished you and Stanford could
have came.  Will have a bless holiday season.
